Since the governments around the world (mainly western) have started introducing laws or enforcing existing ones more strongly to censor all sorts of content (even Wikipedia in England); I, and I imagine others have started to explore many more sites to discover parts of internet that have otherwise been unseen.
I wouldn't have found out about this site if I had not gotten annoyed at how much they were willing to go just to get a bit more power over their users. I wanted to share a bit about what I had found.
I know this is kinda off topic but just wanted to share this as I was passing by the site, I will bookmark just in case there are some replies from others. Stay safe out there ya'll.

Invidious - Dedicated to crawling/scraping videos from YouTube without using their API (making it legal for them to do so), you can watch videos here if you get hit with an ID verification of some sort that blocks you from viewing some content due to content restrictions being aggressively stricter in restricted mode - there are many instances ran by different people, public instances you can try out from here:

PeerTube - A self-host web of streaming services (mostly videos), while decentralized it also lets your hosted PeerTube instance to share videos with other Tubes, you can find videos of any sorts here and even active communities that post videos only here, there are public instances but if you're looking for something specific it might not have been posted publicly on here, try a conventional search engine:

However there are instances that wont appear there but use PeerTube as it's backbone which is how I even learnt about this in the first place:

Glomble - Some guy decided he was gonna upload videos and let others upload videos on his own website, the same old style as youtube, some more customization options for your channel, it's a silly little website that has gathered some following recently which you can find me as well under the username 'Lichen', there are now also Glomblers(?) that post exclusive content here that they don't post elsewhere so that's neat as well

Though I could not get it to work well for me since I'm using a very strictly configured Tor Multiwatch and similar Twitch mirrors also exist

So for I have replaced all my YouTube watchtime with these and I have been enjoying it more than YouTube, the only drawback is that you can see slowdowns with Invidious and Glomble or videos refusing to load for a long while at times, but switching instances on Invidious or just waiting for a while (spending this time with a quick Sudoku :3) solves it. Supporting creators can be a problem but most creators already have a patreon, so you're only really losing out on silly emojis on YouTube and not much else. There are no ads on any of the three sites, I personally don't wanna be tracked anyways so that's a net positive but if you're a content creator that might not be ideal.

Anyways, that's my longwinded (and somewhat bloated XD) explanation of the sites I found out after 1 week of being very angry at internet censorship, If I find more stuff I might make another thread here.
